Products - Adding


Adding products to the offer is done on the offer card by pressing the "add" or "edit" button. After clicking you will see a form that must be filled out.

Product description:

In the product description, you should provide some necessary information for our potential customers:

  • The name should be simple and effective (required)
  • A short description should be up to 300 characters (required)
  • Ingredients
  • Allergens

ATTENTION!

This basic information will allow us to provide relevant information about the product to your customers. This information will look great on the product page:

Order variants:

Variant orders are used to give customers an opportunity to select different variants of the same product. For example, when we offer a salad with some specific dressing to choose from.

 

You can add new variants by entering new values ​​and clicking ENTER. When adding a product to the basket, the customer will be able to choose a variant as follows:

WARNING!

Variants are not price-related; you cannot set different prices for different variants. These are variants of products which are sold at the same price.

 

The price :

Adding a price involves entering the net or gross price and by choosing the appropriate VAT rate:

 

However, we will not always see this form. It depends on whether we have defined ourselves as a VAT payer in the system settings. In this case, this form will be displayed. Otherwise, the system will ask for one price without distinguishing between net/gross/vat price.

 

WARNING!

The currency in this section depends on the main currency selected in the settings. If you want to change it, change the currency in your system configuration.

 

Pictures :

Photos are a very important element of your offer. You don't have to add them! However, we encourage you to do so. If you don't add a photo, the system will show only the product names.

 

 

We can add many photos, then they will be displayed on the product page in the form of a photo gallery.

By clicking "Set main/Set as main" we define which picture is displayed on the product cards.

 

Category:

We encourage you to group your products in the offer to help the customer choose meals that are of their current interest.

We choose categories to which we want to assign products and we can always create an additional category. These categories will be displayed on the product page as follows:

WARNING!

To remove or change the name of a category, go to the categories section on the "offer" tab.

 

Advanced Settings :

In addition to simple product configuration options, you have access to a number of advanced options. To get to them, simply expand the interesting section.

 

Extended description settings:

Here we set additional information to help you easier navigate between your products and understand your product offer.

  • Advertising slogan - This text is displayed under each product card. We suggest that slogan should be a simple and concise sentence describing the product.

 

  • Custom URL - is a unique URL that we give to the product. Simple example: if our main page address is has an address "https://pizzadipasta.com"  - the product will be available at https://pizzadipasta com/pepperoni-pizza
  • Supplier, GTIN, MPN - These are customer support information. They are displayed on the product card in the offer.
  • Files - You can add specific files to the offer. It can be the nutrition table or calories.

 

Advanced options

Advanced options give you the opportunity to highlight or hide the product from your offer.

  • Available in the offer - If this option is disabled, customers will not be able to order this product!
  • Promoted product - The product will be displayed in a special box at the very top of your offer.
  • Main product - Use this option only when you are selling ONE PRODUCT and not different products. Then the home page will transform into the one and only product and the entire catalog will disappear from the eyes of customers.

SEO metdadata

In this section you can enter SEO / OGRAPH / Twitter data. This data will not be visible to users, but will be used when users share a link to your offer.
